Well written and interesting account. This is niche of the war generally unmentioned in general accounts. These flights were of amazing endurance and technical demands. The dangers were tremendous. The navigation difficulties were staggering. While this is probably not for the general reader, if you have an aviation interest, I absolutely recommend it. The Catalina is one of the significant aircraft of WW 2 and it is always good to see more material on it.
