Alan Schreck, PhD is a professor of theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught for almost forty years. He is the author of numerous books, including the best-selling Catholic and Christian: An Explanation of Commonly Misunderstood Catholic Beliefs, as well as The mehr anzeigen Essential Catholic Catechism, Your Life in the Holy Spirit, and The Gift: Discovering the Holy Spirit in Catholic Tradition. Written for both Catholics and non-Catholics to clarify the reasons for some of the differences between RC and Protestant beliefs, in the interests of breaking down conflicts between Christians. This is 25 years old, and could use some updating.
