A very informative book on the sugar industry in Western Canada. Facts, facts and more facts, but somewhat dry reading.

A good guide, a much-needed update to the 2010 edition, on British Columbia's burgeoning wine industry, despite the inclusion of detailed contact information on a non-existent winery that keeps promising to appear yet never does (Osoyoo-Larose Estate Winery).

This book is a little outdated by now - several of the wineries have changed their name or started production. Still this is a fascinating guide to the best little wineries of BC's interior, providing all sorts of useful tidbits of info. It was absolutely indispensable in our wine tour this year.
