This collection, put together by a minister of the Unitarian church, promotes diversity because it shows how the journey from adolesence to adulthood crosses religion, country, time, and culture. Just because the works are collected by a minister does not mean the book is seeking converts; it is a great collection from classic writers and speakers with an overall theme of growing up.
