I just finished the book and I’m completely discombobulated.

This story built me and crashed me. Absolutely ran me over and flattened me. My heart is absolutely broken.

The cliffhanger left me absolutely broken. I don’t even know if I want to read the second book right now (I do) but the ending was just maddening. In my heart, I feel like the last act is not redeemable, but my brain knows it is, the ending isn’t too bad but it is heartbreaking.

I generally do not gravitate towards stories that feature people in uni or younger. But this wasn’t the worst one. This was actually very tolerable. Despite the characters having numerous insecurities they didn’t let them get in their way too much. Miscommunication was there, but it wasn’t intolerable.

The pacing was good. Some of the decisions they made were questionable, and the plot was interesting. Nothing new but interesting nonetheless.

I enjoyed this book. I devoured it in 2 days. Despite my thoughts being all over the place, I still would recommend this book.

My thoughts are all over the place because I literally just finished it and had to write down my thoughts.
