A quick biography of Andy Warhol's life. Much of the source material taken from POPism. Great for a recap or introduction. Quick read.

A rare thing - a straightforward, conversational book on art theory. A good introduction to the debate around originality, appropriation and remix culture that doesn’t end up being a polemic either for or against copyright. Thoughtful and funny, too.

If you think anything is original then think again. Art is often a flagrant act of borrowing from various perspectives which this lovely tantalising book exposes. It is a provocative survey of a complex subject that kept me glued to the pages. Chock full of colour photographs and prints just adds to the scabrous delights within. As Picasso once said “Art is theft”.
