The practice of killing unborn children has become so common that a New Jersey high school teacher recently presented it as an equally valid option to delivery. After administering fake pregnancy tests to girls in her early-childhood education class, she told them they could either abort their babies and do worksheet projects or keep them and care for 'fake babies' (computerized infant simulators)

This is a short book that starts as an explanation of the differences between "replacement" theology and the belief that God is still fulfilling his promises to national Israel - which is why I bought the book); but endds with a critique of Iran and Israel - interesting enough but not why I bought it. I wish he had kept on topic longer and been more in depth on that topic and left the other topic for another book.½

This is a fairly good commentary on Daniel - useful as a resource. I think the author makes some assumptions in his re-telling of details not directly given by Daniel, but overall the book is good enough to serve a place on the bookshelf.

America is being ravished by a well-planned and carefully orchestrated mission to destroy the way of life that has made the nation an unequaled bastion of liberty, freedom, and human rights. Too many of our rights are being thrown away with hardly a whimper of objection or resistance from the majority of the population.

Paul taught that being under the grace administration instead of the Law administration instead of the Law administration frees Christians from mastery by the sin nature.

The fact that 'grace' appears 131 times implies grace is a major subject of the New Testament.

The great apostasy foretold in Scripture is coming, and it may surprise you to see how some things that appear insignificant can be influential indeed. Syncretism is a 'compromise in religion' or 'uncritical acceptance of conflicting or divergent beliefs or practices. Today syncretism abounds as churches professing to be evangelical compromise their values by embracing doctrines and practices that are contrary to Scripture. God intends the church to prevent His revealed truth from being shifted or moved around to something that is no longer true.

The previous article cited examples of Jesus administering God's mercy in various ways during His ministry on Earth. He administered mercy to the unsaved and guiltless and healed the blind, demon-possessed, and leprous.

Through this prophecy (Dan. 9:24) God revealed the exact time the Messiah would officially present Himself to Israel as its prince. Even if Israel had believed the gospel of the Kingdom and repented, Christ would have died for the sins of the world.

Good, but hard to follow. Don't let this be your first book on the rapture / end times or you will be confused. Read Benware first.

The first one I read is called Maranatha: Our Lord Come!, by Renald Showers. It is a "definitive study of the rapture of the church." This is the first book that I have read by Renald Showers and I found it to be very thorough. The claims that are made by this book are very well substantiated, sometimes by many different lines of reasoning. At the end of every chapter there is a summary of conclusions made in that chapter. Very well reasoned. Very thorough.

The book is divided into two parts, (1) introductory concerns and (2) implications for a pretribulational rapture. Both of these sections contain much insight that I learned a lot from and the arguments went far beyond what I had expected.

There is one thing I would like to say, however, about this book that I feel could have been improved. I would not recommend reading this book if it will be the first you will read on the subject. There is a lot of good information in the first part of this book that did not seem to be very relevant to me since I did not understand the issues involved. Showers does not interact specifically with the other views, but rather only with issues. After I read the book below, a lot more of the argumentation in Maranatha made good sense. If you are already familiar with the other views on the rapture, however, I think this book will be much more valuable.
