Steven E Siry

Once again I’ve filled that gap between novels with Potomac Books’ Military Profiles and this time it was “Greene: Revolutionary General” by Steven E. Siry. Mr. Siry quickly makes the case for Greene being not only a progressive general of the American Revolution but also a revolutionary general in regards to tactics especially when Greene’s southern campaign is taken into account. Much of the information was new to me and I was pleasantly informed and entertained by the by Mr. Siry obvious and well-researched narrative. Though once again, better, clearer and more colorful maps would have made a good piece great.… (mehr)
