Paisley Smith

Natalie and Haley have not seen each other in 10 years. Now they are on the planning committee of their 10th year reunion. Natalie remembers them kissing and fingering each other and wishes that more had happened back then and wonders if they can pick up where they left off in Paisley Smith’s FIRST TASTE.

This was a good read as Haley reminds Natalie of how it was as high school seniors. When the opportunity arises they do all the hot things they missed in high school. The sex is hot. The time frame is perfect for this short tale. I like Paisley’s Smith’s writings and will be back for more.… (mehr)

As a big fan of historical and lesbian fiction, I really wanted to like this book. The basic premise of the story is nice and there are enough historical details to give it a Civil War flavor. However, the language used in the sex scenes is more akin to modern erotica/pornography than to Civil War-era language, especially since one of the main characters is a Southern belle. It is so out of context and jarring that I actually started skipping over the sex scenes. If you're interested in reading a really good Civil War lesbian story, try KI Thompson's House of Clouds.… (mehr)

Wow. Having picked up the occasional Erotica book, one thing they tend to always have in common has been there were always multiple men to one woman. This one gives the reader a great glimpse into multiple women as partners. This book really gets to the heart of things and shows how a trusting relationship can grow between two people where sex is involved. There is actually a story here to be told, and not just porn in words.

Jess and Ben have a great life together, but Jess has really started thinking what it would be like to be with another woman. After speaking with Ben it’s decided they will join a Swingers website and see what happens. This is where they meet Tina and Bradley. As Jess and Ben go through the steps of this new lifestyle, Jess begins to questions everything. What if she is truly a lesbian, what if she falls out of love with Ben and in love with a woman, what if . . . ? Trusting in her, Ben gives her the freedom she needs to explore that side of herself. What she discoveries in the end . . . well, you’ll just have to read to find out. Also, a word to the wise . . . keep a fan and cold drink nearby, you’re going to need it. This is a very HOT read.
