Intriguing and Hot!

This book had me smirking, laughing, not to mention fanning. Summer and Sinclair are a hot mess made in heaven. I loved how they brought out the best and sometimes worst in each other. Yet complete each other.

Awful MMC

Knight is a soldier who returned from captivity after his squad was captured and tortured to death. To take over his family's companies, he must marry. Enter Penny, his sister's best friend who needs money to pay for her mother's medical bills.
I was on a kick for angsty marriage-of-convenience trope books, and grabbed this one. It was okay. Penny was a doormat and Knight just messed up, but there were some good twists.

In the beginning, I was not much of a fan of Gio or Rick. Rick came off as a bit of a bully and Gio a bit too timid. In addition, that I was not feeling the chemistry between these two as strongly as well. Yet, as the story progressed, I did warm up to both Gio and Rick.

As I got better acquainted with Rick and his story, I really liked him. The reason for the chemistry between Rick and Gio is because it is a very, slow burn. It took a long while before these two got intimate.

The overall length of the book did seem a bit too long. The second half of the book went faster for me. Yet, I did like this book as the characters did have depth to them. Rick and Gio are like a cinnamon roll...it is comforting and delicious.

As soon as I started reading this book, i was instantly hooked. I could feel the angst and the intense tension between Solene and Declan. It was so intense that I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat a few times.

Every spicy scene between these two had me reaching for a tall, ice cold glass of water. If I wore eyeglasses, they would have been fogged up. Declan can boss me around anytime he wants. Yes, sir!

The progression of Solene and Declan's relationship grew stronger and steamier. I really found myself sucked into this book. Reading for long periods of time. I now need a physical copy for my bookshelf. If you are looking for your next age gap read, you need to rush and download this book now.

I felt sorry for Sienna who was about to lose everything that she had, her company would go under along with her employees, her home and her car, but most of all she could not help her brilliant younger sister get through college! When a last ditched effort to save all that she owned, she agreed to play Jace Walker's fiancee, to go to London for a week and to get a million dollars, only problem was that her life would spiral out of control. I loved Jace from the start and his silver green eyes had me panting. In order to save his company and get his inheritance, he had to show his dad that he was in a serious relationship. The book was a tad too long, but the author had me rapidly reading! Now, I can't wait for the next book.
