Since other Coptic dialects are similar to Sahadic (literary Coptic) with a guidance this book will serve as a guide to their grammars, as well.

This is not a substitute for a textbook but it is a lightweight and convenient guide to the study of the Egyptian language in its last spoken form (and a good starting place for those wondering how hieroglyphics were pronounced).
