Wolf and Fallyn share a past that draws both close and apart. It is because of the past that these two have been separate for so long. Ooh, the emotions are strong in this book. Everything that Wolf did for Fallyn was with pure love. This is why I loved him so much.

"You belong to me now just like you belonged to me then. You will always be mine."

In a way, these two being together were good for each other. Not just because of the chemistry they shared but because of the emotion side. They were able to both heal through one another.

Carson has always been a part of Brayden’s and Elle’s life as Brayden’s best friend he always helped looked after Elle but at one point his feelings changed from friendly to more, yet he could never betray his friend like that so he stayed away. Elle is tired of her brother overstepping his boundaries when it comes to her but she knows it isn’t coming just from an overprotective brother it’s coming from Brayden stepping up and fulfilling his role after their father passed but it’s time for her to spread her wings if only he would stop clipping them. She has saved herself for one person and that person only ever treats her as a little sister type but something changes and things become intense yet Carson won’t ever cross that line. After too many times of back and forth with Carson Elle has had enough and is willing to let him go but he can’t or won’t let that happen. They want each other but Carson only sees it as a betrayal to Brayden so he has to let Elle go only he doesn’t know how and one too many times his patience is tested only this time he isn’t stopping. This slow burn is intense but so beautiful because they want what they know they shouldn’t have and Elle is willing to move on and Carson doesn’t know how to stop it so will they cross that line or will they both walk away with regrets? I loved this book and the characters, even though I love Brayden so much I wanted to reach out and smack him myself a few times for Elle because he went beyond over protective sibling and shut her down, but once he explains why my heart ached for them all. This was such a great read with real life issues that were handled admirably and the love between Elle and Carson was impossible to deny for anyone. It warmed my heart, broke it in places, then gently glued them back together in this amazing read!!!… (mehr)

I have been in love with Crosby since the very beginning because there was always just something about his attitude and cocky ways that snared me in, so when we got his story I was head over heels excited!! Crosby doesn’t do relationships, he’s the guy that knows he is good looking and athletic so he doesn’t even have to try. What we don’t see is underneath that cocky attitude is a guy that is smart, works hard, and is determined to reach he goals, so why is it when it comes to Brooke (his best friends ex) he can not stop the hatred he slings her way? He is always pushing her, saying mean things, and treating her horrible when she has never done anything wrong and at first I thought maybe it was because of the breakup with his best friend but the more we dig the more we see it’s more than that. Brooke is beautiful, works hard,just perfection but form years of underhanded comments by her mom she isn’t always secure and when she has to go toe to toe with Crosby it always seems to drain her. These two at first seem so far apart that you think it would take a miracle for them to ever end up together, but that miracle does happen. I don’t want to spoil too much for anyone because when things start to heat up we start to see a Crosby no one else ever sees and that is this kind, loving guy who would do anything for Brooke, but can Brooke’s trust and the hurt from their banter ever allow him to get close to her? i have said it many times but this series seems to make me fall in love with these characters even more with every book and Crosby really stole my heart. I hope we get an Asher book he is a character that is funny but a true playboy.… (mehr)
