Brock has always had a crush on his best friend Sean's dad, Joshua, but Sean and Joshua are estranged. Joshua sees Brock in a restaurant and admires his build, not knowing who he is. When he discovers that the man is Brock is shocked, knowing he cannot come between Brock and Sean. That does not keep the two from acting on their attraction. Sean blames his dad for his parents' divorce. With the help of his boyfriend, Sean starts trying to reconnect with his dad. When Brock and Joshua come out, will that ruin the reconnection? Will Brock and Joshua ever be a forever couple?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Joshua and how he is trying to make amends for his past. I liked Brock and his crush from childhood. Joshua is shocked to realize that he is attracted to a man. He has to weigh their age difference, the effect of his reconciliation on Sean, his coming out, along with Brock feeling he's a dirty little secret.

The story needed some fleshing out. So much is happening in a short time. I felt something was missing--maybe the showing of passion between the Joshua and Brock. It just felt flat. The characters were good. I wish the story was as good as the characters.… (mehr)

Max and Chase are coworkers at a communications company. Max is a player who wants to be the a best at work. Chase is the quiet guy who somehow keeps getting ahead of Max. Max starts off thinking Chase hates him and is obnoxious, but eventually they become friendly and find they really like each other. Chase has anxiety and I loved how Max didn’t treat him poorly because of it or try to change him. They were sweet together and I liked reading about them.

Jake is being run through the wringer by his soon-to-be ex-wife. When he goes out one night, he has a great and very memorable experience with a guy at a bar. Imagine his surprise when he finds out that said guy is one of his wife's lawyers trying to take custody of their kids. Sebastian (Bas) was also pretty moved by his time with Jake and the two can't stay away. Sebastian learns what kind of person Jake is and wants to do anything that he can to help, even if it will cost him everything.

I really enjoyed their interactions and relationship growth. The guys had definite chemistry and were great for each other. I loved watching them come together and finally get what each of them needed. Watching Bas with Jake's kids was great. I really enjoyed this and am very much looking forward to more.
