Zeke and Margo were slow in drawing me into their world. Once they did however, there was no turning back. The Perfect Fit by Jenna Sutton brings together two wounded, insecure people with nothing in common yet for some strange reason they find comfort and shelter in each other. I received an ARC of The Perfect Fit in exchange for an honest review. I would love to say that I was hooked from page one but that wouldn't be true. The awkwardness of the first meeting was uncomfortable but Ms. Sutton does a beautiful job of allowing the reader to get to know each individual little by little and as I learned more my heart began to thaw. Zeke doesn't know how to be anything but strong. His military training makes him gruff, moody and rough around the edges. Yet it's the small glimpses of doubt, shame and sadness that make him a complex character. On the surface Margo comes across fragile but underneath her outer layer lies a woman who is determined to give her all to becoming a better and stronger person. These characters are perfect for each other because there is no pretense between them. As they start to connect, it becomes obvious that they are good for each other. They strengthen each others weaknesses. Zeke and Margo ultimately ended up teaching me something: "The follow through makes everything worth it."… (mehr)

From beginning to end, Ms. Sutton amps up the heat with Kyla and Jake. He's a risk taker that's never met a challenge big enough to deter him. He lives his life in the same way he tackles a bet. All in, no matter the cost. Kyla is a woman with a plan. To stay on the path of success, she doesn't have time for distractions. Having never met a rule he can't bend, Jake is about to show Kyla, the fun in breaking all the rules. A Kick in the Pants is what I've come to expect from Jenna Sutton.
