if I am remembering right, a pastor in the early 1800's was shown vast cities. The guide was a local native but the local native claimed that the cities were white people of a different culture and language.

Contributors include, among others, highly respected LDS scholars and writers: Hugh Nibley, Terry Warner, Neal Maxwell, Truman Madsen, Chauncy Riddle, Robert Thomas, Leonard Arrington, Richard Anderson, and Monte Nyman. Madsen and Nyman were friends of my father. Chauncy Riddle was a BYU religion and philosophy professor who had a profound effect on my own thinking.
