Just....WOW!!!! I think it's a bad day when your only parent that homeschooled you and raised you completely off the grid passes away from cancer to leave you all alone in this crazy world. What made it that much MORE insane is using her final breathe, Faith was finally told the name of her father. LUCIFER! Not just a coincidental name, but "THE" actual Lucifer. WTH?!?! She always knew she was unique as her hands could conjure fire depending on her emotions. I guess that answered one major question. Still numb from all that happened around her the ice queen social worker hardly grabbed her arm to take her onto her next stage of life at a Wayward Girls Home. Her STARTS the life of crazy that would become Faiths life. Finally she will learn of the supernatural realm and her possible time within it. Buckle up because it's worth a ticket… (mehr)

Salidas and Taylor deliver an entertaining page turner with "Beyond: ( Running From The Devil: Book Three ). While Phoebe attempts to mitigate the unexpected backlash from the breakup of the nascent Fae/Demon alliance that took place in "Between" we get to meet Nick/Death, Fate's/Julie's, husband. We also find out something surprising about Fate's recent behaviour. I'll not say more, you'll have to get the book and find out for yourself.
The authors, as is to be expected, continue their superb world building and character development as they introduce new characters and show us more about the main characters.
As with the two previous volumes in the series I was hooked from Page One to Page Last and hated having to stop reading for mundane things like, oh, working. I recommend this entertaining page turner.

Wendigos, and Succubi, and Leprechauns, OH MYY!! Taylor and Salidas pull out all the stops in "Between: ( Running From The Devil: Book Two )" as Phoebe, Smoke and Adam try to stop the Fey Mafia from completing a hostile takeover of both the Earthly and Hellish realms. The writing duo continue the fine job of word building and character development in the second installment of this series. I couldn't put this entertaining book down from page One to page the Last. I can hardly wait to dive into book three of the series.

"Beneath: ( Running From The Devil: Book One )" is the lead volume of the "Running From The Devil" Series. I've read a book by Taylor last year and a have also read a fair few of Salidas' books so I was expecting great things from these authors tag-teaming on a series. The duo did NOT disappoint me. They did a phenomenal job of world building and character development. As soon as I post this review I am going to dive into "Between" the second book of the series. I recommend this book.
