6. Learn everything you can about what you are interested in the role of monarchies in the past and how they shaped history and you to be a better leader and friend. Learn about psychology, business, intelligence, policing and the law. Those are the subjects you are passionate about. If you don’t know then learn.
7. Practice makes progress. Try writing five hundred words a day and see where it takes you for four months and thrn re-evaluate at the end. Constantly improve. Constantly educate. Constantly learn. Constantly grow your mind.

Richard Templar’s The Rules of Life is a book that is simply written. It consists of the following parts: 1) Rules for You, 2) Partnership Rules, 3) Family and Friends Rules, 4) Social Rules, and 5) World Rules. The most developed section is the first part.
Templar explained why it was necessary to follow these rules. He wrote that this was how successful people live. He wasn’t concerned with wealth, material things, and fame, but the natural happiness and well-being of individuals. So a great deal of what the author wrote was based on his observation of people. In this book there weren’t any surprises concerning how to live a good and well-respected life? Many of these aspects are based on one’s commonsense, and being able to stick to these rules in their life.
These rules included being sensitive to other people’s needs, loving your neighbor, being kind, and giving a helping hand when we could. There’s nothing really earth shattering in this book. Its rules are simply straight forward, and even a child would be able to follow them. The author was able to cover many bases in the five parts of this book.… (mehr)
