Dayum. Virgin sacrifice. Reminiscent of Keira's and my story with the public deflowering and selective sharing. Very hot.
Holy crap, what a mind-fuck - although it HAD occurred to me at one point that Seven was being deceptive, if only because I've entertained a similar plot bunny. Really good.
1st reading. 20 years in the future since the previous book. The world is very different and preternaturals are kept in cages by magic users for their blood. Noah, Cole and Jane's pup, has been a captive for 20 years since he was 7yo. Sydney, Anthony and Charles's hybrid daughter is kidnapped.
Good, a bit frustrating that the series ends here and we don't get to witness Noah's growth and healing, but that's not what these books are about.

I loved this short story.
The audiobook was amazingly narrated. Troy Duran can growl to me everyday 😊
