The informational text, Oceans, is a factual book on ocean animals, different ocean environments, containing characteristics of both. This book provides a vast amount of information about every heading. It explains ocean zones, fish, sharks, whales, dolphins, in great depth providing many examples following each category. I like the pictures shown throughout because as children read this book, they can compare what they read to a picture shown below the text. It provides better understanding, especially to visual learners. I liked the structure of this book because throughout there were pictures followed by text information that matches the picture. I found this book very interesting and a better read than primarily all un-interesting text. Great book that I will use in my classroom library and will incorporate if I have a lesson on oceans and/or ocean animals.

This book is very good information

This is an excellent look at some of the things in the ocean, with a focus on what level of the ocean the live in (Sunlight, Twilight, or Midnight Zones). It includes great photographs and interesting facts, and also explains some concepts like habitats through the exotic fish it focuses on.
