I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

I came across this author through an Amazon giveaway I didn’t win. So, looking for another book to read/review I went to Amazon to see what she’s written and found this one.

Reading this book brought me back to the around the third or fourth grade in school when we read a poem which totally epitomizes the theme of this book. The poem is “It Couldn’t Be Done” by Edgar Albert Guest, and here is the beginning of the poem:

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So, he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

If there’s one person who might be able to honestly tell you how truthful the author, Connie Ruth Vejar, is when she writes in her book’s description that “Achieving anything is possible, if you set your mind to it. Never say that you Can’t…”; Achieving anything is possible, if you set your mind to it. Never say that you Can’t;” I just might be that individual. For the longest time I kept on telling myself I’ll never be able to write a book, and so far, I’ve written two. I never thought I’d be reading books and then reviewing them here on Amazon, and in the last years I’ve already posted 924 of them from a very broad spectrum of genres.

What is author is telling her readers has been around for a long time, for Jerome Kern wrote a song about it in 1936 for the movie “Swing Time” starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, called Pick Yourself.”

Nothing's impossible I have found
For when my chin is on the ground
I pick myself up, dust myself off, start all over again
Don't lose your confidence if you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again
Work like a soul inspired till the battle of the day is won
You may be sick and tired but you'll be a man my son
Don't you remember the famous men who had to fall to rise again?
They picked themselves up, dust themselves off and started all over again.

For wanting to inspire her readers to fulfill their “impossible” dreams, I’m giving Ms.Vejar 5 STARS for her efforts.
