I loved this book so much. It was a quick but sweet read and I loved Jack he had me from the beginning. Jack has to get married due to a clause in his father's will so he will be able to keep his father's company. Grace and Janey Pawsten was such awesome characters and I was with Grace if a man loves your dog that much you can't help but fall in love with him. Grace and Jack's relationship started off rocky but they couldn't stop the amazing chemistry that they had. I highly recommend this read now I want to go back and read Connor's story.

This book is full of short stories by fantastic authors some I knew before and some are new to me and I have fallen in love with. There are a lot of short stories and some I have not got to yet, but I definitely plan to, so here are my reviews on the stories I have read so far:
Her Mafioso’s Honor by Patricia Eddy:
In this story we are instantly introduced to Evelyn who has been captured by some mafia guys. She is treated horribly but she is strong and can hold her own. Damian is the nephew to the current mafia boss who thinks it is horrible the way his uncle has ran the family into the ground so he is out to right the wrongs and he starts by saving Evelyn from an even worse fate. At first Evelyn is very skeptical a guy like Damian wants to help her and cares for her well being but their attraction is undeniable. The story is a short one, but I loved it so much and enjoyed the characters. A fast paced intense read with an incredible alpha and tough as nails heroine.

Real by Magan Vernon:
In this cute read we get to see the banter between two individuals who entertained me and made me laugh. Wren is starting a paper for her English class and starts to email her professor so she can get a few things approved but the TA answers to response. This TA comes off as abrupt, kind of mean, but she does not know it is not her professor but instead his TA, Wolf the school bad boy. Wolf is smart and knows what he likes, and he knows his stuff when it comes to the class he works for. Their back and forth arguing is so good that you know they love to get a rise out of each other but know it may be kind of forbidden. I loved Wolf and the way he was straight forward with Wren. I also how Wren could give back as good as he could and that they were so attracted to each other just by arguing.

The Cabin Between Us by Dani Rene:
This story was cute, and it followed Calandra who left her hometown to try and make it in Hollywood, but we find out when she left town she left behind her heart. She is returning because her mother has decided to sell their cabin but she has so many memories there it’s hard for her to see it go, but when she gets home Kolton her heart and soul at one point is there. Kolton let the love of his life go but now he has a plan to make up for lost time.

Me and John Boy are great characters with depth and interest. The story line was sweet and complex at the same time I loved it. The sub story line about cancer was so relevant to the times and very touching. All I need to know is where I can get my very own John Boy!

Such a sweet story. I fell i love with Kai right along with Bentley. It was refreshing to read a story where it was more about the plot than the next sex scene.

Magan Vernon is an author who's books I generally look forwards to reading and this one was one I am glad I got to read. I loved the plot and and the character's were interesting and likable. This story was both funny and poignant and I read it in one sitting because I could not bear to put it down.

I love Magan Vernon and this one did not disappoint. I think it is my favorite one she's ever written. I'm sure this is because I loved Tripp. Sam is fine but it's Tripp who makes the story for me.

I received an advanced copy of this book from Patricia D. Eddy, whose contribution "Her Mafioso's Honor" is about midway through the book, for review. I started with her story, and am slowly making my way through the rest.

I love anthologies like this, especially romance-laden ones, as they give a ton of heat in bite-sized stories that don't have the same kind of pressure to commit as a full-length novel or series (though, who are we kidding - most of these stories are going to send you searching for the full catalogues of the authors within).

"Her Mafioso's Honor" serves up the kind of characters you can't help but want to see more of. Evelyn and Damian are both driven by a sense of duty and pride, though stemming from wildly different circumstances, and clash together when Evelyn finds herself over her head. Cue the steam, swoon and that longing to see a so-called "bad boy" take names and save the day. I'm thrilled that we may see more of these characters developed in the year ahead.

Following Eddy's story was "So Much More" by Reina Torres. Somehow the author managed to create that delicate sense of hesitation and slow burn within just a few chapters. The shared history and pining between the two characters made the heat in the story that much more satisfying, and I'd happily read about the hinted back story in a full-length novel.

As I continue through the other stories, I will try to update my review, however, considering this anthology is literally free across all major retailers, I'd highly recommend diving in. With so many stories to choose from, there's bound to be one that draws you in and provides that perfect evening escape.

DNF.

I couldn't get in to this. I didn't like the style of writing or the so called 'hero'. It starts off him waking up in bed with a woman who will not be the heroine of this book. I hate that. There is no detail but he's not going to be my kind of hero with his attitude.

This is the third book in the series, we met Sean and Leah previously since Leah was Fallon's friend and Fallon was married to his brother Connor. Sean had to get married to due what his father's will decreed and for his brothers to not lose their inheritance as well if he did not comply. I got all of that and the fake engagements scenarious but I have to say that I did not like Leah, I tried but she annoyed me to no end, I am glad that Fallon told her about herself but she still left a bad taste in my mouth and I wish Sean would have had someone else.

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was great. Len and Rachael have a lot of chemistry along with a great story line. I even laughed out loud a few times during this one. I love that Rach isn't your typical Mom/woman she is real. I can relate to her a lot. This book was refreshing and the ending!!! I need the next one ASAP!!!

Thank you Kindle Worlds for bringing an author like Magan Vernon to my attention. Her wit enchants and graces ever page. Her heart is evident inside of the characters she writes. Ms. Vernon turned out to be a perfect fit, for the angsty, mischievous and captivating Kendall Ryan inspired Imperfect Love series. In Famed, Mary James is as clueless in love as she is in life. A mail clerk, a leaked sex tape (FAKED) and a couple of matchmaking mamas are about to give her just the antidote she needs. A makeover of the heart. Irresistible fun.

DNF at about 20%

This book is just simply not for me. I wasn't feeling it and I read to relax and unwind from my busy life. I have no desire to read or know more about American politics than I do now and I just wasn't enjoying it and already grew tired of all the references to politics.

Stay clear of this if you hate politics but it may just be your book if you very much enjoy just that.

Either way, I'm out.

**I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest voluntary review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.**

Ever since we were briefly introduced to these two in the first book in the series, I've been curious about their story.

Second chance romances can be hard to write but I think Magan succeeds in delivering for the most part. We get plenty of flashbacks to the past so it helped define the relationship these two have and why they've always been drawn to each other. It was also great to get half of the story told from Brooke's POV and then from Eddie's. I personally would have liked to have seen more "present" day romantic interactions between the two--I felt like we focus a little to much on their individual developments--so I wasn't entirely sold on why they work as a couple now.

I think I'm in the minority as well when it comes to character likeability. I really didn't like Brooke as a character at all. She came across as vain, somewhat shallow and shameless. I hated how she treated her current boyfriend, Drake, and how she seemed to lack any remorse about her feelings and actions towards him. To me, there was nothing redeemable about her and I felt like she didn't grow either by the end of the book (ie she didn't learn any lessons).

I liked Eddie though. He seemed a little more level headed. And of the two, I think he showed a little more growth by the end of the novel.

As for the audio production, I thought it was FABULOUS! Kassiopia DeVora was a great narrator--I was truly impressed by her narration. The accents were spot on; each character had a unique voice; and she did a great job singing as Eddie when the occasion called.

Love this book. Since I am from the Dallas area it was really cool to read about area's I knew, so for me it added a special touch. I have never read a book by Magan Vernon, but you can bet your butt I am going to go back and read the rest in the series. Johnny and Sofie, are both complete goofballs. Sofie more than Johnny, but these characters meshed so well it's like you were a fly on the wall of their lives.
Sofie, awkward, goofy, college senior met Johnny, the Olympic swimmer the previous year and had a hot make out session with him. Then she ran. As most awkward girls would. When they meet up again hilarity ensues. I don't want to give anything away about this book. It is a romantic comedy, so if you are up for a few giggles tinged with awkward as hell romance, this is for you. There was nothing I didn't like about this book and I can say I will recommend the heck out of this book. It's told in the first person only from Sofies eyes, until the end of the book which is told by Johnny.

This book definitely has its up and downs, and Magan Vernon makes us take it. The question of this book is can you get back the one that got away? This is actually just a the main question that will run through your mind while reading this book. The characters are well developed and I love that it is set in an area where I live, it was a short but wild ride will be worth it!

-- Want to know if the whole series is worth reading? Read my overall review of the whole series at seriesousbookreviews.com! Spoiler Free!

At times, this story read like a Young Adult novel. The restrictions Lia seemed to think her parents placed on her were frustrating to read about. For goodness' sake: she's 20! I think she can go out on a date without her parent's permission... I know everyone's family is different but it just bothered me. It was definitely something for her to work on (it goes hand in hand with her self-confidence issues)

But it gave this story a younger vibe that I never really recovered from.

Despite that, Lia had a lot of growing to do in this novel and I think she does a great job with that. I like that she is able to see her self-worth because of their relationship but doesn't define herself through the relationship. Meaning, she doesn't become this girl who can't live without her boyfriend.

Jay was super adorable and said all the right things. He's exactly what you want when you think about your favourite celebrity when he falls in love with you: a totally sweetheart. But I also liked that he had his flaws and that he was trying his best to work on them.

Sweet and enjoyable!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The deeper I get into the series the deeper the books go into the characters and how they are being changed by their surroundings and each other. While a nice fun read there is also so real issues addressed for each of them. Really enjoying the story and characters.

Another book I really, really liked.

I connected with the characters, esp Libby. I thought it this coming-of-age story was very well done and pulled me in from the start. I liked how Libby changes, and how she starts getting to know herself as a person and making better decisions for her future.

Check it out, it's free on Amazon right now. I don't think you will regret reading this.

A YA high school novel. One part romance, one part high school drama, and one part coming-of-age story. The romance is sweet and Kai is not only a very interesting character, but also an intelligent and thoughtful boy. It's also nice to see a male character who is not a jock or bad boy. Bentley is a typical rich high schooler who transforms into something and someone much better. Her father's transformation is nice too. PG to PG-13 romance and drug situations. There's also some bullying. A quick read for a YA audience.
