This book explains Half-Earth Socialism; why it is imperative and why it is possible.

I like the fact that the authors do not pretend to have all the answers: I get SO frustrated with people who tell me that we MUST all do this and this, or the world is doomed. This book is much more sensible: it offers potentials, it accepts that people are idiosyncratic and won't follow a direct line to a better world. They also admit that even if their vision was to be put into operation perfectly, life would still not be Utopian - better, but never perfect.

This book is not "the answer", it doesn't pretend so to be but, it is a signpost pointing in the right direction.

Not a should read... a MUST read!!!… (mehr)
