Leah Waskey

A children's book that my father bought for my brother and sisters back in the early 1980s. The "Monster Gallery" explores all the famous monster found in film and literature. A short sketch accompanies one drawing.

The monsters looked at: The Fly, The Monster of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Godzilla, Cyclops, The Werewolf, The Abominable Snowman, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Phantom of the Opera, The Morlock, The Vampire, King Kong, and, lastly, The Bride of Frankenstein. This particular book was illustrated in black and white. So, my father instructed us to color in a particular monster. I chose Godzilla.… (mehr)
