The Reign of George III, 1760-1815. [With maps and… von John Steven WATSON

As far as I could tell at the time, this was the standard reference text. He was king for a very long time, and was always a serious factor in the plitics and policy of his time. An awkward personality, but very clear about his motives and ambitions.
