Eli Weinberg (1908–1981)

According to the acknowledgement Conny Braam, Joost Guntenaar and Willie van Exter from Holland were crucial for the realisation of this book. The prints were Meade in the darkroom of Joost Guntenaar in Amsterdam. Eli Weinberg came to South Africa from Latvia in 1929 and worked there as a professional professional photographer until 1976 when he left the country illegally and was given political asylum in Tanzania.
