After picking up a bit at the end of the second volume, this one immediately falls to pieces as it meanders around doing nothing. A long sequence with an old priest who looks like a young boy is supposed to be funny, but it is not, not even a little bit. Then there are some tiny, slow bits of romantic progress with choppy, episodic chapters featuring jewelry shopping, a haunted mirror, a visit to a grave, and catching a cold, but I just couldn't bring myself to care.

I'm not even halfway through this series at this point, and I'm not really connecting with the plot or characters, and the art is nothing special, so I think it is time to step away from it. Byyyyeeeeee.… (mehr)
