One of my favourite books as a child - probably contributed quite a lot to my love of the surreal. Re-read it today and still love it!

This story is a book about counting. Three bears go throughout their everyday life's and we are able to count different things they do. This story was fun and cute. I think children will really enjoy the counting in this story. This story could be used to teach children who are beginning to recognize numbers. I also like how after the number 10, the author introduced 20, 30, 40, and 50.

This book is great to use that can accompany a math lesson on cardinal numerals. As the story progresses, the numbers that correlate with the objects get larger. The story begins with three naughty bears invading a stranger's home. Since the house is vacant, the bears feel that they are permitted access into that home. After hearing the family's complaint, the bears feel remorse and decide to bring gifts as a token of their apology.… (mehr)

This book is a great opposite to Goldilocks, as the story progress it is counting items from 1-50. The illustrations are watercolor and light. This book would be great for use in math and storytelling.
