This is a book that I will need to read more than once as it includes a lot of information about what's best for the brain: vitamins, food, sleep, water, eliminating stress with meditation and adding a decent amount of exercise everyday. She gives a overview of the brain function and then addresses how to keep it in a healthy mode. Examples of real-life stories creates a decent reinforcement.

The book is easy to understand without a lot of technical details which can be overwhelming. It's all about what is best for the brain to maintain good performance especially as one ages. For those who want to understand more, there is a section at the end which provides notes related to each chapter and also brain-related acronyms.
