This story left me feeling a little conflicted. When I originally saw the photo early in the prompt selection process, I was surprised and excited to see WWII era German military uniforms and was looking forward to reading THAT story. Unfortunately, a different, Americanized story emerged and, while disappointed, I dove in to read about Buck and Joe. And I liked it…for the most part. Then, at the very end, it seemed like the author got bored and just included a "laundry list of life events" that, for me, totally distracted from Buck and Joe's reunion. *le sigh*… (mehr)

This is a VERY short story about Nick and Leon lovers who live together. When a past lovers sister comes to visit Nick and Leon get to find out things about the past for Leon. This is a christian romance novel and it is just cute and sweet. I read a review on amazon that made me almost mad enough I did not want to read the novel. You can believe in god but, question who you are and if you are doing the right thing. It was the premise of this book. I just wish the author would have focused more on the past and the two men instead of what they did in the past. It is quick and sweet and if you do not like Christian romance this may not be the short story for you. I do want to read more in the future about Leon's past.
