{my thoughts} –
Eve Collins is forced to visit her friend Aria’s grave. She blames herself for Aria’s death because she was distractedly watching Asher during the fight that had occurred. Eve asks a few of the Gargoyles about Aria’s unnatural speed but she is ignored and they change the subject on her. She still can’t figure out how Aria got past her so quickly and then how she died at the hands of the enemy.

Asher and Eve explore there romance more in this book. It gets to the point that most people would be like it’s obvious you two have a thing so admit it. When they finally do admit they have romantic intentions a bunch of other issues arise.

In this book Eve is tested, she gets kidnapped twice, she gets beat up and she questions which side of the war she is going to be loyal to. She has dreams that seem so real that they appear to be premonitions. She also questions her feelings on both Gage and Asher. If I were Eve I would choose Asher he seems so much more trusting the Gage the Gargoyle who chooses not to pick aside because he’d rather get revenge for the death of his first mate.

This book was wonderfully written and the ending made me sad. I am really hoping that in the next book Asher and Eve can work out their relationship issues. I know that a happy ever after would be so much better then the alternative.… (mehr)

{my thoughts} - This book was amazing. And I am not just saying that. It starts out with us getting to know Eve Collins and her three dorm room buddies in the middle of the night. She is awoken because she has a bad dream – she seems to have these many nights and it scared her so much she screamed and woke up everyone in the dorm. These dreams of hers however, were just the beginning, the beginning of something extraordinary.

Eve is a rather opinionated person, she isn’t afraid to tell it how it is and she isn’t afraid to show worry or fear either. All and all she’s an interesting character when she is first introduced.

Aria is a sweet bubbly understanding and all around good natured person. She has a lot to offer but sometimes what she lacks in other characteristics she makes up for with other qualities.

Kenna is extremely opinionated and really hard to like. She shows her dislike in Eve almost immediately and she doesn’t let lose in the slightest.

Abby is brilliant. She has all the characteristics you could want in a friend and she is genuinely there to help guide and support as one also.

Asher is a bad boy with such a quirky but adorable personality. He has a job to do and he does it, but in between that he allows his heart to lead him at times which gets him into some hot water occasionally.

Now onto the book. I loved it, I couldn’t get enough of it and I was sad when it ended and now I cannot wait to read the next one in the series. The world of imagery that is painted into the words on the pages in this book really draw you in. This book had such a pull on me that at times I didn’t want to put it down, it is that well written and that intriguing of a story. I look forward to seeing where Miss Wilson is going to be taking these characters in the next installment of the series. Until then, if you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend that you do!… (mehr)

{My Thoughts} – This book was spectacular. I mean that in every aspect of the world. It really is. I enjoyed reading more about Eve and Asher’s story. I enjoyed learning more about their clan and those that they work with. It was also a huge shock to learn more about the bombshells that have been dropped within this book When I say bombshells, I literally mean bombshells. Some of the things I read made me mad, made me want to cry and made me want to throw my phone across the room. Some of the revelations were rather shocking on so many different levels.

The main thing that has followed with Eve and Asher from the beginning is that they both care deeply about each other and that they both want to protect the other. Their strange dynamic helps to make this a wonderfully written story. I can not wait until I get to read the conclusion to this series, I am sure it will be as mind blowing with revelations as this book has been. It is also a pleasure to read a story that is well developed and incredibly well written and to me that is this book/series and so much more!

I am sure that anyone that enjoys supernatural/romance books will fall in love with this book/series as I have.… (mehr)

{My Thoughts} – This was a spectacular conclusion to an incredibly well written series. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to read this entire series.

Eve and Asher are put through some of their biggest trials within the pages of this book. They both learn that the truth they have known has been altered to fit the agenda of others. They both learn that they cannot survive. nor exist without the other. They both learn that despite everything they really truly are in love with one another and love can move bridges!

I enjoyed getting to know more of Asher’s personality in this book. I think that he is an amazing character that was well written. I would be lying if I didn’t say I had a book crush on him, I mean honestly how can’t you. His description within the pages is well done and leaves you wanting more, so much more. It’s no wonder that Eve can’t keep away from him on so many different levels.

Eve is pretty much Eve. She is a annoying character at times, but I do enjoy when her and Kenna banter back and forth. It’s really well written and makes the reader look forward to those incredible scenes.

Gage is arrogant in so many ways, but it suits him. I could easily imagine him saying and doing the things he was saying and doing. I also enjoyed getting to know his softer side. His emotional side instead of the massive tough boy act that he always displayed.

All and all there is a lot of big things that happen within the pages of this book. There are a lot of Revelations that come to light as well. It is tied up with a nice little bow in the end for the most part. However, it is a grand feeling knowing that this story isn’t completely over and that there is going to be a spin off makes me so excited for what is to come. I truly have fallen in love with this series and it is one that I will be reading again in the future just to read it, because it is that fabulous!… (mehr)
