At the homecoming party, the Villa Vista High School building explodes. A few hundred students and two faculty chaperones are killed instantly. Then they wake up, seeing each other as they looked in life but seeing themselves as crushed and burned bodies in mirrors, and find themselves in Limbo, which looks just like the school building beforethe explosion. Past social dramas resolve themselves into a conflict between those who want to find out why the building exploded and those whose priority is finding a way to get out, which will involve Christian prayers being said.

This novel could be shorter, and the Christian beliefs on which its plot rests aren't the doctrines all Christians take seriously, but if you're willing to concede that Libmo existks and fornication is not a major sin *in this novel* you might like it.… (mehr)
