I loved this retelling of Cinderella. The characters are so deep. At first, I really thought that the main character, Samantha, was a little spoiled and pouty. Her father seemed distant and stubborn, but we soon saw why their relationship was rocky. It was lovely to see how much they loved each other. The hero (who is also "Cinderella") is Asher Ellis who is an absolutely wonderful man.
The conversations and dialogue were witty. Also, I appreciated that I didn't guess the ending until far along in the book.
Even if you don't typically go for westerns or fairytales, take a chance on If the Boot Fits, because it was brilliantly done.… (mehr)
