Wong began her career in visual journalism at The New York Times, became the graphics director for The Wall Street Journal in 2001 and was previously the strategy director for information design at the global consulting firm Siegel+Gale. Today she is Vice President, Digital and Multimedia mehr anzeigen Communications, at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Wong holds an MFA from Yale University and lives in New York City. Quick read, couple of hours tops. Great primer on all things related to presenting data. Clear examples of do's and don'ts. I will keep it as a desk reference. Also, will use it when working with others as a conversation starter.

With more the nature of a checklist than an in depth textbook, this is a good introduction to *real* infographics. Many a day on social media would be much improved if Photoshop came with a copy.

A great little book that covers the basics of how to style a chart. It is largely targeted at static/print media and not interactive visualizations. Still, it lays a good foundation of how to present data without taking away from the main message of the data. [Jason S]
