There are some books that are written based on real life incidents that happened in the past. Such books carry a very strong impact on one's brain. But this book, is literally haunting my thoughts. Based on some of the real incidents, the author has scripted such a plot that won't leave your mind after many days of reading.

'Denied By Allah' is a very strong eye opener book that
showcases the atrocities carried out on women in the name of religion and laws.It is shocking to know that such practices are taking place within the Muslim community in a secular country like India, they might be happening even now when I am writing this.

After reading the book, there is so much anger, anguish, emotions, sadness and helplessness engulfed inside me. I feel so weak when I just visualise a woman undergoing the torture.

Hats off to Noor Zaheer for binging out this book. I admit there might be several works done about this, but somehow I got connected to this book maybe because of the news channels and magazines talking mostly about the Triple Talaq issues in the recent past.

What a book !!!!
