An effervescently entertaining and instructive book, with nods to classical literature (particularly Suetonius, particularly his curious commentary regarding the effervescent entertainments of Tiberius, in his Under-the-Hill retreat at Capri. Avoid John Lane's less instructive version. Go for the Smithers (in one of the Savoy issues, I think) or the Beardsley-Glassco team up. Oh, and read Glassco's memoirs & bio. Also very instructive. And entertaining.
