I crave meta-fiction/futurism/futility in fiction.
I love+hate memoirs with tenuous links to truth and terrible displays of power.
I am fascinated by the issue of ownership, originality and copyright. I am currently intrigued by the case of Director James Cameron plaigirising the work of writer Harlan Ellison.
Über mich
For the purposes of this site all you need know is that I read books constantly: I set myself impossible tasks - such as read a book a day for a month - and inevitably fail (by day 4, on the last occasion). But this doesn't stop me trying again. My approach to writing follows this pattern; I love to try but somehow consistency eludes me. Still, this is the least apathetic part of my life.
