JW Whitmarsh is the author of the Elemental Cycle series of fantasy novels. JW wrote the first of these books - The Book of Water (aka the Enchantress trilogy) over period from about 2006 in between working and living in England and continental Europe.

Born is Oxford, JW is currently based there once more after having lived for periods in the Czech Republic, Greece and the Netherlands.

As of March 2016, the first three books of the Elemental Cycle have been completed and two others (Valkyrie Rising & Mars Fallen) are expected to be finished within the year.
