I love historical novels that center around mystery or romance. No offense, but not the kind that are just one sex scene after another. Rather, those that are written by authors such as the Victoria Holt and Belva Plain. I am also a proud conservative and definitely enjoying books by people such as Laura Ingram, Bill O'Reilly and Chuck Norris. Among my other favorite authors are Grace Livingston Hill, Anne Perry, Dick Francis, and Emilie Loring. But I would need probably another whole page to list every author that I have read and enjoyed over the course of my life.

I am a freelance writer an avid reader as well. I guess all us writers are, for that matter. I think I started to read practically before I could talk. My earliest memories are reading or singing in my parents gospel musical group. Both my parents were evangelists and avid readers as well. My mother used to tell me "everything you want to know is somewhere in the book." She Was certainly right about that.
