I was reading Shakespeare with sister before I was 10, found Tolkien in early teens, and discovered Star Trek slash fanfiction in late teens, which colored the rest of my reading career, I think.

I've been tearing through urban fantasies lately, hoping eventually to contribute my own writing to the genre.
