Über mich
I work at the Library of Congress, where I am Chief of the African and Middle Eastern Division. I am also a mystery writer who has authored a number of novels including Cocktails and Murder on the Potomac (2000), Murder on the Riviera (2004/2012), A Christmas Mystery in Provence (2004/2012), and Death of a Harlequin (2012). I have travelled to many places around the world, but have set my last three mysteries in the South of France because I just love the food, the culture, the weather and the traditions of that region world. I hold a doctorate from the Johns Hopkins University in International Relations, and have published several non-fiction books as well as more than 160 articles in my professional field.
