ADORE Salinger with a passion and can't wait until they publish his older works!


Bit of a book snob, though do read some popular fiction - pet hate - romance and crime novels (unless very well done) as they are an over-saturated market.


Find the major prizes have, in recent years, been dominated not based on quality but rather types of "voices" and find this saddening.

No I don't believe people can't write about other types of people - that is ludicrous - authors write about people who aren't them! Shocking I know!
