Über meine Bibliothek
Such a small house, not enogugh shelf space! I make use of my local (quite excellent) library for new books to read. I can't afford the money or space to own everything I read or listen to, so If I take it out repeatedly, I'll buy myself a copy.

Roughly half of my bookshelf space is taken up with craft & art books: inspirational art books, tomes about specific artists I admire, general art reference books, many many how to do ------ (where --- is most textile techniques, lots of beads and polymer clay, assorted other crafts). I've sadly few beloved fiction books in hardback, but do have a goodly collection of paperback. Most authors I consider "addictions" are mainly represented in paperback (John D. MacDonald, Dick Francis) I have a smattering of cookbooks, some grad school texts I can't bear to part with, several shelves of music books- sheet music or studies of folk music history - and a 1930something Funk & Wagnall's dictionary that's nearly a foot thick.
Über mich
I'm an artist from Cleveland Hts, Ohio. I play with beads, work in an office to support my book and music habits, engage in folk music and dance as audience or perfomer. Caffeine is at the top of my food pyramid. I'm fond of sailors, musicians, and people who do creative things with both hands and mind.
