Über meine Bibliothek

It's hardly a library, we have five large bookshelves in the living room and bedroom, and we need to buy more. Looking forward to moving to a house with an extra room, though! We have a rather mixed selection, with emphasis on fantasy/science fiction (the good kind), weird fiction, graphic novels (mainly Vertigo), russian and japanese novels, art books, and now the 1001 books you must read before you die (we'll get there!).

We also have a fairly large collection of books about Magick, Hermetic Traditions, etc, which started through personal interest and grew when we started studying it in the academic field. Cisco is doing his thesis on the Mather's traslations of the Clavicula Salomonis, and I'm doing mine on Early Modern Demonology. These books have been known to scare the neighbours.

Über mich

We're Vanda and Cisco, 25 and 24 respectively, and we're portuguese PhD students in Manchester (Religions and Theology). We've amassed a lot of books since we started living together 5 years ago, so, hopefully, this will help us organize things a bit! (We've also found books we didn't remember buying just by cataloguing half a bookshelf). We have a cat named Crowley.
