I read weird books most of my peers aren't interested in. I read an inordinate amount of old and obscure books. Working in public libraries and doing readers advisory, I know my way around a genre, but enjoy suggesting works outside the mainstream.

Über mich

I am a librarian and historian who works in public libraries and public history. Some of the things that matter most to me are: socialism, cats, other people, nature, vegetables, writing, reading, and music. My happiest times include: literature seminars in college, being at home with family and cats, walking in the woods, playing around in the garden.
