These days my library is full of picture books and adult non-fiction about racism and antisemitism with smatterings of YA fantasy, romance, memoir, etc., written by fellow authors. Thank goodness for these author friends, for many reasons, and especially because they expand my reading into genres that I don't normally choose. I'm grateful for the nudge. By the way, the focus on racism and antisemitism includes some fiction and plenty of Black and Jewish joy and Black Jewish joy. One of these days, I'll create a bibliography to share.

I'm a writer and a reader. From picture books to adult fiction and non-fiction, I write and read books that empower children and adults to celebrate and make sense of themselves, others, and communities near and far (in time, locale, and imagination). I'm nourished by creativity, social justice courage, new perspectives, and resilience. I love discovering unsung heroes and Jewish joy.
