Reading has always been one of my primary interests. My parents used to say that the world could be falling down around me and I would not even notice if I was absorbed in a book. This love of books translates naturally into a love of words. You might call me a logophile or a lexophile (or even a "verbivore")--I can't stand not knowing what something means. Reading leads to a love of words; words lead to writing, and that is a great passion of mine. I don't ever remember not wanting to write! Besides reading and writing, I love to travel and have covered much of North America in addition to trips to several other countries. My all-time favorite was Iceland.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my life is my family. My husband and I are blessed with two sons and a daughter, who have in turn blessed us with two granddaughters and three grandsons.
