- Über meine Bibliothek
- Literogo is a book reviewing blog which occasionally features guest posts from authors. My aim is to open dialogue between readers and the authors they love, to spread bookish talk and the passion for reading. In the interests of promoting all kinds of talent, I review both Indie and commercially published books, and feel that there should not be a distinction made between them; rather than focusing on the process of how it was published, I prefer to focus on the book itself. My reviews are in-depth analyses, in which I try to figure out what the author was trying to do, and whether they achieved it.
Literogo is mainly focused on literary fiction, science fiction, speculative fiction and fantasy. However, I may make exceptions based on my whims. For more detail on my reading preferences, please read my review policy.
My LibraryThing shelf only includes books that have been awarded 5 stars on Literogo. - Über mich
- Born in South Africa, I grew up on a tropical island paradise, Mauritius. I achieved a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from Rhodes University in South Africa, and have been teaching English in South Korea for the past three years.
I dabble in writing my own fiction but prefer reading the better words of others, and have participated in more NaNoWriMos than I can count (but I only won once).
When I don’t have my nose stuck in a book, I’m skiing, scuba diving, hiking or playing board games. Exploding Kittens is my current favourite. - Ort
