My library is a very mixed bag of books from children's stories through humour to philosophical trilogy with most of the usual classics thrown in. Mostly my books reflect my mood at the time of purchase rather than any following of a particular author or genre - though Steinbeck is an exception.

I'm a part-time primary school teacher in the wonderful Scottish Borders where walking my dog in the superb countryside vies with writing and reading for my time.
