#1. Uglies
#2. The Knife of Never Letting Go (It sounds stupid but it is a VERY good book to read).

Maybe at the very least providing the author of these works if not a link or a Touchstone would be helpful?

i liked all three books mentioned.

People who liked The Hunger Games might also like The Maze Runner and its sequals.
The Maze Runner was just awesome!

And heres a touchstone for The Knife of Never Letting Go. Also a really good book!

How about City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare?

sarahy: haven't read it, but was on my to read list. Is it good?

Also, the Peter and the starcatchers series. Not sure who its by, but ill look that up.

Lastly, Milagros by Meg Medina. Not well known, but very good.

I highly recommend Graceling for anyone looking for another strong female protagonist. We can never have too many of those (though we've certainly had enough botched attempts).

If you have a strong stomach and like the idea of kids vying for survival, try the Gone series. But seriously, you've GOT to have a really strong stomach.

also Fire and Bitterblue... which are "reading companions" to graceling

Graceling is REALLY good...so was Fire...but I liked Graceling better. Does Bitterblue still have Katsa and Po as characters? Or Fire? Wait...Fire is set a while before Graceling and Bitterblue right? It's been awhile since I've read those books...
