Hunger Games Movie: True to the book?

For all Hunger Games that have seen the movie, were there any parts that you didn't think the the movie portrayed well? Personally, I feel the director did a wonderful job in keeping it true to the book. Every part of the set was exactly as I imagined it would be. I'm interested to hear other opinions because I'm getting mixed reviews.

I thought it was a really good movie. There were parts that could have been done better. Like Rue's death; I was the only one crying when she died because I was thinking of Rue as she was in the book. Everyone I know that saw the movie but didn't read the book said that Rue and Katniss's relationship wasn't very deep like it was in the book.
Overall, it was amazing! The music was good, too.

The only thing i really wish they did better was the food thing. in the book they were starving and once they were on the train they gorged themselves. you know what i mean??

The Mutts in the Movie didn't have the dead tributes features like they had in the book. I thought it was really interesting in the book and it ticked me off when it wasn't in the movie

#4 - I haven't seen the movie, but my husband saw it with his coworkers over a lunch break (they were celebrating something or other), and this was one of the things I asked him about. It was one of the most powerful points in the book, and I can't believe they'd leave it out. I'm also disappointed that Cinna had no real impact on anyone. Anyone who's only seen the movie, anyway. I grabbed this screen shot of Cinna and Katniss to make myself feel better. He's my favorite character.

#5 I agree! Cinna is awesome and in the book he really helped Katniss out of her state of fear, the movie didn't capture their bond. Dame with Katniss and Gale!

I think that they book is way better than the movie and that the parts that they missed or changed about the book in the movie were pretty important but for the most part i think that for being a movie the movie was pretty true to the book

I missed the "Here to finish me off, sweetheart?" line
